Board Member - Steven Lee

“Bringing people together to solve problems.”

Suburbanite Steven Lee came to San Francisco State University to receive a degree in Broadcast Communications.  Not having any Asian American friends, joined a Chinese Student Collège organization at school and began hosting entertainment events to meet friends socially and sometimes make some side money on the weekends. The learning experience and investments soon became a small business that became a serious part of his life.  Steven Lee has become a well-respected, connected, and knowledgeable problem solver in operations and marketing for the food, beverage, and hospitality industry.  An Industry leader and advocate for small business, public safety, fair legislation and a crusader for unique historic preservation for 35+ years.
